Kathleen C. Blake

Kathleen C. Blake is an experienced paralegal and legal professional with more than 20 years of experience supporting attorneys, government contractors, business leaders, and clients in legal, compliance, contracts, and administrative matters. She combines extensive legal knowledge with strong organizational and client service skills, providing dependable support throughout complex legal and business processes.

Kathleen began her legal career as a paralegal with the Law Office of Walter B. Gunby. In that role, she assisted clients with bankruptcy, estate planning and administration, real estate transactions, workers’ compensation matters, corporate formation, IRS problem resolution, and general civil matters.

Her responsibilities included preparing legal pleadings, contracts, wills, deeds, leases, and bankruptcy filings. She also conducted legal research and worked directly with United States Bankruptcy Trustees on estate administration and settlements.



Throughout her career, Kathleen has expanded her expertise to include government contracting, compliance, proposal development, and contract administration. She has experience reviewing and preparing contracts, subcontracts, consultant agreements, nondisclosure agreements, and regulatory documentation.

Her background also includes legal and regulatory research involving the Federal Acquisition Regulation, Code of Federal Regulations, Freedom of Information Act, and intellectual property matters.


Known for her professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to client service, Kathleen brings a practical and solutions-oriented approach to every matter she handles. Her experience across both legal and business environments allows her to effectively support attorneys, clients, and organizations while maintaining high standards of integrity and professionalism.


Kathleen completed her studies in Paralegal Studies at Chesapeake College and continued her legal education through advanced legal studies at the University of Maryland University College. She has also completed professional development training in federal proposal writing, leadership, quality management, and compliance auditing and is an ISO 9001:2008 Certified Auditor.
